Marukyu Koyamaen’s matcha from Uji, Kyoto is crafted using tender new tea leaves rich in natural umami. The leaves are processed without rolling, and only the softest parts are carefully ground with a traditional stone mill.
Wakatake is recommended for use in confectionery, lattes, and other culinary applications.
